Sharing the Legacy of Preacher Cathy

This past January, my mom stepped into eternity, and life has felt different ever since. Grief has a way of slowing the world down, of making you notice the empty spaces where someone once stood. But in this month of remembering her, I’ve been overwhelmed—not just by the loss, but by the sheer number of people whose lives she touched.

My mom loved God with a fierce, steady devotion. She didn’t just talk about faith; she lived it in every conversation, every prayer, every act of kindness. She had a way of seeing people—really seeing them—and offering exactly the encouragement or challenge they needed. Her words carried weight because they came from a life rooted in Scripture, compassion, and conviction.

And then there was her stubbornness. Anyone who trained with her in karate knows exactly what I mean. That determination, that grit, that refusal to quit—she poured it into her students, her family, and her ministry. She inspired people to push harder, believe deeper, and grow stronger.

As I’ve listened to stories and memories from so many who loved her, one thing has become clear: her voice still matters. Her sermons, her teachings, her reflections—they shaped lives. And I believe they can continue to do so.

That’s why I’m creating this space.

Here, I’ll be posting her sermons—messages filled with truth, hope, challenge, and the unmistakable imprint of her faith. My prayer is that her words will keep reaching people, keep inspiring them, keep helping them grow in their walk with God.

If her life touched you, I hope these messages bring back the warmth of her voice.
If you never had the chance to meet her, I hope you’ll come to know the incredible woman she was.

This is my way of honoring her.
This is my way of sharing her with the world.

Welcome to Preacher Cathy’s legacy.
